Correction (00:45:30): the Hanafis permit joining prayers on two occasions: at Arafah and at Muzdalifah during the Hajj.

Correction (00:02:47): There isn't agreement that touching the opposite gender with desire nullifies wudu - the Hanafis don't consider skin contact, with or without desire, as nullifying wudu. If the touching leads to the emission of pre-seminal fluid (madhi) however, then of course the wudu is nullified.

Correction (0:13:30): it is not the case that the Hanafis don't permit wiping on the jawrab (see Maraqi al-Falah, for example) - they impose a number of conditions for its validity (such as the jawrab being impermeable to water), but certainly don't regard it as being unconditionally invalid.

Assalamu-Alaikum wa Rahmathullah,

I recently downloaded the 6 part lecture given by Shaykh Suhaib on the hIstory of Islamic Law. My question regards whether there is an English translation of the text he used to deliver the lecture? If not what book in English would the Shaykh or anyone at MAS recomend?

Wasalaamu-Alaikum wa Rahmathullah,

Syed.
